3 Places You Must Visit In Malaysia

85% of the people have memories triggered by scents.

But I guess I belong to the rest 15% who have memories triggered by the food they've eaten. Because its the taste that marks a star to the place in my list.

Around two years back I travelled outside the country,  for my first ever International trip.
We were supposed to cover the three south east Asian countries of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand,  respectively in the same sequence.
Singapore, the island city being a bunch of wholesomeness helped me create a bag full of memories. Hence there was an obvious expectation from the next country.
Even today the evocative pictures of these places remind me of my best trip. I was quite curious as we didn't travel by airways!!!
One thing you must know; to cut down the expenses roadways are fruitful, as you travel across the Johor- Singapore Causeway.

The Shiv Temple:
The first thing we did was visit the shiv temple in Malay.
Malaysia has the largest shiva temple in the world and one must definitely visit it. The Shiv Murti is really as big as a tall mountain. The golden figurine showed off really well and the blue clouds made beautiful crown like  structure over the top. Splendid.

The Genting Island:
Also there should be a definite visit to the famous Genting Island here.
There are two things one must know about this place is that, first out station park, or the outdoor theme park is yet to be constructed while it has the best indoor theme park. Secondly the food at the Coffee Terrace resto bar is one in a million.
The journey starts you taking a cable car ride to the top of the mountains through the valleys and tall pine trees.
The ride being a total of 20mins is totally worth, as the higher you go the beautiful it gets.
One must know that the best time to visit these countries is during your summer vacations, as the climate is soothing and hence going outdoors doesn't become tedious.
On reaching the top you can see the large hotels for a complete stay and the entire view of the island. An eye down the hill and you see the clouds floating and gradually clearing and giving way to the tall verdant trees and the ravishing island.

The Coffee Terrace:
For lunch the Coffee Terrace restaurant has an international cuisine.Though the pasta is specially recommended, the irresistible cupcakes which have a total of more than seven varieties, is a sure go to.

All these cupcakes are either vegetarian or eggitarian. I personally only had these cakes and pastries for lunch. They're mouth watering. They also have ice candies!!!
Now doesn't that already make you hungry??
Apart from all this they have a multi cuisine involving flavours from all parts of the world.

For the latter part of the day the indoor games and the gift shops helped in making the visit to this place memorable and grabbing the best gifts from the gift shop on our way back home.
